Matt Webb Co Founder / CEO
Matt is a Co-Founder and CEO of R Specialty Optical Fibers LLC (RSOF) which represents the 5th specialty fiber optic company that Matt has founded or co-founded. An entrepreneur, manager, technologist, engineer, sales person and businessman, Matt has a passionate devotion to customers, quality, the people he works with, and continuous organizational improvement.
Over the course of more than 3 decades of entrepreneurship developing specialty fiber optic solutions for some of the most difficult problems while building organizations to provide those solutions, Matt has developed a proven track record of success from unique one-offs to volume manufacturing and addressing both regional and international challenges.
Matt possesses a BA in Natural Sciences and Mathematics and an MBA.
Lisa Young Co-Founder / COO
Lisa is a Co-Founder and COO of R Specialty Optical Fibers LLC. Lisa brings 30 years of ever increasing responsibilities and experience with the last 18 years focused on Specialty Optical Fibers devices and assemblies. Lisa’s extensive background in various roles enables her to view solutions from outside the box but always with a customer centric devotion.
From R&D prototyping to product launch and ramp-up to volume production, Lisa has demonstrated the skill to manage the product over its entire life cycle, overcome obstacles and achieve optimal results for customers who have worked with her.
Lisa’s role as Chief Operations Officer gives her the responsibility and also the authority to guide projects from first build and to ensure that customer needs are met, scheduling is accurate, and delivery promises are met while adhering to strict quality standards and cost controls.
